Synopsis

Saving civilization one bylaw at a time.

Allyson and Beth are the only female bylaw officers in the town of Tallyho. And the only officers who take their jobs seriously. After all, bylaws are the foundation of a civil society. Right?!

Allyson hates confrontation and fears hurting people’s feelings. Beth hates injustice and fears not being good enough. Both have been hired to fill departmental quotas. Allyson thinks affirmative action is great! Beth is determined to show the town that the two of them have what it takes to get the job done.  If she could only keep Allyson focused on bylaw enforcement instead of getting dragged into one awkward misadventure after another because Allyson can’t say ‘no’ to anyone.

Yet somehow, everything always turns out. As Allyson is happy to remind Beth every. single. time.

In the ageless style of the female ‘odd couple’ comedy, this series proves that rules may be the foundation of civilization but friendship is the glue that keeps it together.

The pilot script is in development. We will shoot it as a web series but this project could easily be adapted into a half hour format for television or OTT platforms.
